How to deactivate CS6 from a now recycled pc

Question

I have an older Photoshop CS6 I purchased and installed on two pcs (only allows it to be on two computers).  I uninstalled it from one of my older pcs and took the pc to be decommissioned and recycled by the Geek Squad.  I installed CS6 on my new pc but it keeps asking me to deactivate it from my old pc which is now history.  How can I get CS6 to recognize that one of my installed copies has been deactivated and now is on a new pc?

To ellaborate on @Ged_Traynor 's post - you cannot remote deactivate a license and Adobe Customer Support are unable to assist (also cant remote deactivate and have stopped adding additional activation counts as of last year).

Unfortunately if you are getting that error when trying to install on your new machine you are out of luck.
