I’m designing an SVG logo for my SucShop online store, but I only have Photoshop installed on my computer. I already have the SVG file—my question is: How can I edit an SVG file in Photoshop?

Photoshop is not a vector editor. As Trevor says, Photoshop will rasterize it.

To produce vector files (which is what a logo should always be), you need a vector editor like Illustrator. If you don't want to pay for Illustrator, but only want to use Photoshop, you can only produce raster image files that cannot be scaled without damage.

Sorry, but that's just the reality.

You can obviously look for cheaper alternatives and see if they're enough for your needs.

Download the free Inkscape app for this.

You can open an SVG file in Photoshop, but it will become a raster image.  On the plus side, I think you have the option of setting the size in pixels, so you can make that large enough to maintain a degree of image quality.

...but it will no longer be a vector image, so I wonder where the file was sourced from, and how it was created?  I suspect this is one of those occasions when sharing the image here will get you better advice.
