How to Find Serial/Activation codes/Product Key without Box?

Question

The Contact Customer Chat Support isn't working on this site, hence why this post exists.

So, I have Adobe Photoshop CS5 on an extremely old laptop (like almost 10 years old) and I'm wanting to transfer it to a new computer I built. The problem being that when I first got my laptop, Photoshop was preinstalled (or my grandparents who got me the laptop installed it on here for me, not sure which scenario is more plausible) on the laptop itself, meaning if there was a box with a product key on it, there's no way to get it now.

Is there anything I can do to save this program from my dying computer? Any way to find these codes on my laptop?

- page has links to programs to find an installed serial number in Mac or Windows

- includes link to your Adobe account to check for registered serial numbers

- when you find your serial number(s) write them down and put in a desk drawer

If you registered your software with Adobe - go to your account, look under "plans and products" and then "products". A list of the serial numbers that you registered should be there.
