How to match the Gen Expand with the original?

Hi everyone,

I tried the gen expand feature on this image, but the expansion(upwards) doesn’t quite match the original image. The water droplets don’t have the starry sparkle, and the water doesn’t have that greenish-blue hue.
Is there a fix?

    With a 1024px x x1024px Selection the result seems OK to me.

    What prompts have you tried? 

    You could also try a classic filter approach.

      How many pixels dis you expand? 

      Generative Fill has, if I am not mistaken, a limit of 2048px by 2048px and upsamples when that area is larger than that, so that may affect the result. 

       

      Could you please post (the upper part of) the image in full resolution?

      And with the partner models (like Nano Banana) I think the limitation may even still be 1024px by 1024px. 

      But by applying Generative Fill in correspondingly small Selections it may be possible to more closely match the original’s structure/noise/…
