How to move guide lines using arrow keys

In Illustrator, if I select a cyan guide line (created by clicking and dragging from the ruler), I can use my arrow keys on my keyboard to move thet guideline where I want. I want to be able to do that in Photoshop as well, but am unable to. When I click/select the cyan line and use the arrow keys, the current layer moves instead. How can I set it so the cyan lines move with the arrow keys when they're selected? Thanks!

I'll definitely do that! It makes no sense that it can be done in Illustrator and InDesign, but not Photoshop.

InDesign and Illustrator utilize vector graphics, so the guides are handled differently.

You could always create a vector line shape to use as a "guide" and that would behave as expected.

It's a workaround but could work.
