How to Open a photo from Lightroom into Photoshop (Beta) Version 26.6.0

I just updated Photoshop (version 26.6.0), and now when importing a photo from Lightroom Classic, I can't get the photo to open in Photoshop. HELP I'm in the middle of editing wedding photo's and don't have time for this.

I've tried Cntrl-E, and right clicking-open in Photoshop. It opens Photoshop, but doesn't bring the picture in.

I am using Windows 11.

I finally uninstalled and reinstalled Photoshop (Beta), Mar 29, and it fixed the problem.

With the last update for Photoshop Beta (m3022) the problem is solved. It does remain in the regular version of Photoshop, so we'll have to wait for an update there.

Hi! I did what they said in this post and that fixed the issue for me.

Yes, the same error pops up here too. But the picture with the edits is save for sure. It just doesn't show up in the catalogue. Synchronising the folder will show you the pictures as you made them.

I'm facing the same problem. I tried to open a photo into Photoshop Beta AND regular Photoshop and neither open the image.

A workaround would be to send the pictures as Smart objects, that works for me (having the same problem)

Also, I just re-installed the previous version and all is back to normal!

I just tried to open the image as a smart object, edited the image, saved it, and when I exited an error message popped up, and I lost all the changes to the image. (no, I didn't think to grab a screenshot of the image. )

@Kjenson you'd be better off reporting the issue on the Photoshop Beta forum
