How to open Photoshop 2025 in Rosetta mode as a "plugin" in Lightroom (Edit in Photoshop)

Hello all!

I own a Photoshop plugin that only works if Photoshop is opened in Rosetta mode. I already checked the box in the "Get info" menu to open Photoshop in Rosetta mode and it works great. However, most of the time I start my workflow in Lightroom, and then choose to "Edit in Photoshop" for the final touches. But when I do that, Photoshop doesn't open in Rosetta mode, and therefore I can't use my plugin. Is there any way Photoshop would open in Rosetta mode when started through Lightroom?

Cheers!

I guess the solution for now is to start Photoshop first when running under Rosetta, then send the photo from Lightroom to Photoshop.

I neglected to mention that fact! Ok, I think we missed part of the equation.

Is the Rosetta checkbox not "sticky"? (I found that it is)

Or is the Ps logo in the Dock starting from a different, non-Rosetta  app?

In my experimenting, I found that Ps takes up to 30 seconds to start on my M1 MacAir with the Rostetta box checked; 2 seconds without.

Either way, to get the loop-through-Ps working, I'd look to replacing that plug-in.

Hasn't the plug-in creator updated the tool  to run under Ps 2025?

"Go to Applications > Photoshop > Open the Photoshop Folder > Click [to select'; do not double-click] the Photoshop Application within the Photoshop folder

THEN Right Click > Get Info > Check the box for Open with Rosetta"

Unfortunately not. That's why I'm asking…

Maybe you did like I did at first -- I right-clicked on the folder Adobe Photoshop 2025.

One must open the Adobe Photoshop 2025 folder, then click on the Adobe Photoshop 2025.app.

Here is a composite image displaying the two results side-by-side.
