How to open Pshop in standard screen

In Preferences, General, the "Auto show the home screen" is unchecked, but I still get that big white screen that I have no use for.  I've even checked "Open in legacy new document interface" but that didn't change anything.  I also don't see the command box for AI changes.

Thanks, I hope

To open Photoshop in a standard screen :

  1. Use the F key to switch to Standard Screen Mode .
  2. Resize the window manually if necessary.
  3. Reset preferences if the issue persists.
  4. Save your workspace layout for future use.

By following these steps, you should be able to open Photoshop in a standard, non-maximized window.
