Hi guys, I'm a beginner in photoshop and at the moment I'm trying to fix an old photo of my grandparents. I have managed more or less to fix simple scratches and stains but what I'm struggling with the most is removing the funny texture from the photo, probably the print on the paper. I have attached the fragment here just to show you what I mean. I have tried different filters like the one mentioned in here https://www.lifewire.com/remove-moire-patterns-from-scanned-photos-1700238 and nothing seems to be working. I would be super grateful for any words of wisdom.

The pattern of the texture is too irregular to use the usual FFT (Fast Fourier Transform) method, but you could do a half decent job with Camera RAW > negative clarity.  Note I have increased contrast and made other adjustments, but it is the clarity slider doing the heavy lifting.

[EDIT]  I should have mentioned that you need to do this on a copy of the layer (or a copy merged layer of your combined edit — Shift Ctrl Alt E) and used a layer mask to mask out areas that have lost too much detail.
