How To Reset Preferences If I Have The Legacy Version?

Hey, so for the past week my Photoshop is having some kind of error in which I can't use some tools (and it's bugging me a lot). I was told to reset my Photoshop Preferences by clicking the "Reset Preferences on Quit" option, but there's no option for that on my version (it's v 13.0 x64 btw).

And if you're asking, yes, I've also tried the Shift+Ctrl+Alt or Alt+Shift+Ctrl key thing while running the program, but nothing came out. Can anyone please help me? Thank you so much.

Hi

Pressing Ctrl+Alt+Shift whilst starting the application should give you a dialogue to delete the settings file.

If you can't get that to work, go to C: > Users > [username] > AppData > Roaming > Adobe > Adobe Photoshop CS6 and delete the Adobe Photoshop CS6 Settings folder.  Alternatively, you can move the folder to another location if you want to retain the ability to restore it.

Hi

I'm surprised the Ctrl + Alt + Shift didn't work, as far as I remember you need to hold them keys down and keep them down before you launch Photoshop.

You can also manually delete the preference file from this location.

Users/[user name]/AppData/Roaming/Adobe/Adobe Photoshop [version]/Adobe Photoshop [version] Settings
