Question

How to save an animated gif if "Save For Web (Legacy)" isn't working?

After doing a bit of searcing, it seems Save for Web (Legacy) isn't working with PS 22.3.

Are there any alternatives to saving an animated gif until this problem is resolved?

Thanks for any help.

It seems I cannot reproduce the issue.

Please read this (in particular the section titled "Supply pertinent information for more timely and effective answers”):

What have you done for all-purpose trouble-shooting so far?
Restoring Preferences after making sure all customized presets like Actions, Patterns, Brushes etc. have been saved might be a good starting point:

Have you tried manually removing –/Library/Preferenes/Adobe Save for Web 13.0 Prefs before starting Photoshop?

Thank you for your reply. I am on Windows 10, PS v 22.3.

When I try to save for web (legacy), I get this message: "The operation could not be completed."

I have reset my preferences as per this help article:

https://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop/using/preferences.html#Manually

That did not change my results.

Before posting here, I searched for a long while and eventually came across these recent posts:

"The issue has been reported to Adobe"

So I assumed it was a known issue which is why I didn't post any further details. Just looking for a work around for the time being. Thanks again.
