How to scale in precise increments in photoshop

A nice feature of PS is the ability to use the bracket keys to increase/decrease the size of a brush in precise increments.  Similarly, we can use the arrow keys to move an object in small increments.  Is there any way to apply a transformation (^T) and scale that transformation in precise increments without having to type numbers into the toolbar?

I click in the text box for Width or Height, then use my Up and Down arrow keys on my keyboard.

  • Adding the Shift key goes in larger increments.
  • Enabling the Link button keeps it proportional.
