Why ..

performance
ai and ai tools , bloated

bugs

the save system (stil not over it)

the pricing and options of the full package

am i the only one?

While I consider Adobe’s switch to exclusive Cloud licensing unfortunate I find Photoshop’s performance perfectly passable and the Photoshop team’s bug-fixing-performance non-problematic of late … (If you should want to trouble-shoot any specific issues please start a new thread for each one.)

As for the AI features one can decide not to use them if one is so inclined. (Of course if one so much as uses the Remove Tool one runs the risk of getting used to utilizing AI in image editing.)

Anyway your frustration appears to be shared by many more people than are active in this thread and your decision to let your money talk is certainly a reasonable one.

Good luck with whatever Photoshop-alternative you decide to go with!

Well said but let me say it better. The moment Adobe went to subscription, I stopped buying.

I have a licensed copy of PS CS6 but of course, Adobe is NO HELP because I did not buy a support package, so even though I have record of the product at Adobe, I cannot get it to activate on my new PC.

With this I fully understand why people hack software. Adobe, like other companies are just [Removed by moderator] greedy, and your example, along with mine exemplifies this.

I have started the process of migrating to The GIMP. God Bless people that have a better vision about what it is to create, support, and share their creations.

I encourage ALL USERS of ANY Adobe product to walk away. Like anything, if you hit them in their wallet, it just might bring about change.

Of course, the [Removed by moderator] at Adobe won’t even read this as they just want the user community to solve their issues for them.
