Question

I am looking to open an Adobe file that is from 2008 legacy but i keep getting an error message. How do i either fix the file or get it to work on the new software.

If it looks corrupted, especially if you choose the “flatten” option which is basically an emergency fallback, it probably is legitimately corrupted.

You could try using third party “psd file repair” type tools out there, but not sure how well they work. It probably depends exactly what’s wrong with it.
