When I enhance photos with CS6 extended. I sometimes get a white outline on certain subjects. I attempted to download a 5.17 meg example photo but for some reason it wouldn't download. I'm wondering if there is a way to prevent this from happening or a way to eliminate it when it does.

That's a lage image for the web. Post just a cropped portion. Most likely, sharpening is set too high, but post what your editing steps are when you notice this happening.

It took a while because I have so many images but I was able to find the
original of the image in question. I went through my current routine and I
found that even before any problem with sharpening, the adjustments I was
making with the highlights, shadows, whites and blacks sliders in camera
raw was causing the beginning of outlines in areas of high contrast.
Sharpening certainly increased the effect. I will pay more attention to
how borders are affected by my editing routine and modify it where needed.
Thanks for your reply. It helped clear my mind.
By the way, when I go to the discussion boards I don't see any way to find
my original post so I had to use the reply to message link in the email I
got about this.
