Hello,

When i open Filter>Render I can't find the light effect filter anymore. I had a quick search online but i can't find a recent article about it.

Anyone can help me find a way to get it back?

Thank you in advance

Adobe has been in the process of removing 3D and related functionality from Photoshop and as it happens Lighting Effects in it's current state relies on the 3D engine, so Lighting Effects has been removed from current Photoshop versions.

Nobody except Adobe can say if and/or when Lighting Effects will be back in Photoshop. however, in the meantime you can install Photoshop 22.2 from the Adobe Creative Cloud application for fully working 3D including Lighting effects.

Yes, the Feb. 2021 release of Ps is supposedly the most stable for 3D features.
