I’m just editing the artboard normally, but the colors keep changing on their own.
This happened after I updated to the new version 27.10.0.

Hi @visual_Mercury16b0,

Thanks for reporting this and for including the video. Since you noticed the color/display behavior specifically after updating to Photoshop 27.10, I’d like first to check whether GPU rendering is involved.

Could you please try the following:

1. Go to Photoshop > Preferences > Performance.

2. Temporarily uncheck "Use Graphics Processor"

3. Restart Photoshop.

4. Open the same document and repeat the workflow shown in your video.

Please let us know whether the unexpected color change still occurs.

We’ve received similar reports with Photoshop 27.10 involving unexpected display changes, such as increased contrast or reddish/more vibrant-looking colors, where users have reported that reverting to 27.9.1 restores the expected display.

If disabling the Graphics Processor resolves the issue, please also share Help > System Info > Copy and paste the contents here. That will give us your GPU model, driver, display information, and other details that may help us investigate.

If disabling the GPU makes no difference, please let us know that as well. Since 27.9.1 does not exhibit the problem for the similar reports we’ve received, that version can also be used temporarily if the 27.10 behavior is disrupting your work while we investigate.

Hi @visual_Mercury16b0,

Thanks for reporting this and for including the video. Since you noticed the color/display behavior specifically after updating to Photoshop 27.10, I’d like first to check whether GPU rendering is involved.

Could you please try the following:

1. Go to Photoshop > Preferences > Performance.

2. Temporarily uncheck "Use Graphics Processor"

3. Restart Photoshop.

4. Open the same document and repeat the workflow shown in your video.

Please let us know whether the unexpected color change still occurs.

We’ve received similar reports with Photoshop 27.10 involving unexpected display changes, such as increased contrast or reddish/more vibrant-looking colors, where users have reported that reverting to 27.9.1 restores the expected display.

If disabling the Graphics Processor resolves the issue, please also share Help > System Info > Copy and paste the contents here. That will give us your GPU model, driver, display information, and other details that may help us investigate.

If disabling the GPU makes no difference, please let us know that as well. Since 27.9.1 does not exhibit the problem for the similar reports we’ve received, that version can also be used temporarily if the 27.10 behavior is disrupting your work while we investigate.
