I got a ACE for Photoshop 5.5 back in the 2000s. Took the test through Pearsons in Denver and did pass. I have been using the ACE logo on my website and resumes but I am appling for an adjunct teaching postion at a private university and they would like to see some documation for this and for my Adobe Digital instuctor award too. Does Adobe keep any records for these?

No, Adobe never kept records of our certifications. When the program was ended in 2023 we were told that we can no longer use the logo. When the certification existed, it was only good for two years.

    You can check with Certiport.

Thank you so much, With the program ending anyway I was able to get into my records at Certiport and confirmed my old ACE. Would not print so i took a screen grab. This will confirm that I did pass back in 2012. I will say I hated the ACE test. It as all multiple choice and as anyone who has worked with Photoshop knows there is always more than one way to do a task. I took the test at an university in Denver in their testing center. Some of the students in the classroom sat at desks with paper tests while I had one of the seven computers in the room. I am sure they all wondered about this guy who would talk back to the computer screen who would sometime say either “There is more than one way to do that now” or “No one does it that way anymore.”

We all did! If you knew four ways to do a task, the exam came up with a fifth way that you weren’t sure about!

I’m glad you were able to get your records from Ceritport. The certification was good for two years, but it does provide documentation for the university.
