I’ve lost the "Apply" checkmark in the Photoshop options bar

I’ve lost the "Apply" checkmark in the Photoshop options bar if I use the remove tool; instead, I now have a semicolon icon.

Lost it in the PS version 27.10 and also in the Beta version 27.11

To apply a remove I have to use the contextuel taskbar.

I already reseted all tools and restarted the option bar.

Is this how the option bar should look or is it a bug in my versions?

Would apreciate some help with this
