Question

inactive app sidebar

Hello,
In Adobe applications, the sidebar (the one at the top of the windows) only works when I click on the top-left corner. I can’t move the windows by dragging from the center or the right side anymore, which is what I usually do.

It’s quite frustrating. How can I fix this?
Thank you very much.

Hey, @david_3746. Welcome to the Photoshop Community. I'll need more info to help you figure this out.

Please share more details, including the version of Photoshop and the Windows operating system, along with screenshots and video recordings of what you see.

At this point, the given information is too limited for us to help you.

    Thanks!

Good evening Sameer K, thank you for your reply. Here is an image of the crossbar and the problem I'm having with all Adobe apps. Thank you and have a good evening.

Hello Tarun Saini, Thank you for your reply. This only happens with the Adobe software I use (Photoshop, Dreamweaver, InDesign). I think it's the same for all other apps. It continues even after uninstalling and reinstalling these programs. Thank you for your help.

    Hi @david_3746,

Thanks for reaching out! We’re sorry to hear about this. Could you please let us know which Adobe app you are using? I see you mentioned Adobe applications, so is it with all apps or with a specific one? Did you see this happening with other non-Adobe apps?

    Regards,

    Tarun
