I own PS CS5 and I just bought a new laptop that has no cd-rom drive. There is no download link under my registered products. Is there a legit way to download an install for CS5? Or am i just out of luck? Any help, advise or commiserations would be appreciated.

Let us know how you get on, as there will be other people in your position going forward.

I've successfully installed, and used, PS CS5 on my new Win11 laptop. I found an old post in this community from 2013 (I pasted the relevant response and info below). I followed the link, followed the instruction in the article and installed. When it asked for my Serial Number, i retrieved the number from my CS5 box (which i had previously registered with Adobe when purchased a decade or so ago) and it installed, no problem. Super easy. I hope this helps someone.

Hi Jbenesole225,

Please find the direct link to install CS5: http://prodesigntools.com/all-adobe-cs5-direct-download-links.html .

Kindly follow the very important instructions before download.

Will CS5 work on Windows 11? I was thinking about buying an external cd/dvd drive so i could install it from the disc.

Before you pay for the external drive, I am not sure that you can Activate CS5 nowadays.  Does anyone know for sure?  There's an old forum thread, but it could be completely out of date now.
