Irregular halftone dots

 Attempting to produce a halftone for a positive transfer film in PS. Image produced has irregular dots or irregular space between dots. Which is it and how to get perfect dots? End goal is to be silkscreened on glass.

Correct answer Semaphoric

To get the dots to look nice, they need to have more pixels. When you make the bitmap, make the resolution something like 1200 ppi or higher, with the line screen less than 150. The bitmap will have very large pixel dimensions,  but, being only one bit, the file size will not be too big.

 

This is with 1200 ppi and 75 lpi:
