Is it possible to change all shortcuts that use command, to use spacebar instead?

On a mac, the command key sits directly under my hand, and I hit it with my thumb. I use Command + c, v, x, a, d, s, etc constantly so my hand is always in this bad position.

Personally, I never use the hand tool, so it'd be great if to switch everything to spacebar + c etc.  Doesn't seem like this is possible, even though spacebar is a shortcut. Am I missing anything?

If it's not possible I'm going to look into alt keyboards, but just wanted to check since this would be easiest and cheapest.

I don’t seem to understand the problem.

How are A, S, X, … inconvenient to press along with the cmd-key?

Or what do you mean by »bad position«?

I mean just by default I leave my left hand with my thumb on the command key, and my other fingers resting on ASDF. By bad position, I mean it's not natural and hurts after awhile. Having your thumb always in the center of your palm is not ideal.
Feel free to ignore though, another commenter had the answer.
