Is there a fast way to increase one side of a shape by 20 pixels in Photoshop?

Whenever I have to increase a shape to one side I manually do it with a mouse, but the amount of pixels I have to increase is always fixed, I was wondering if there's an easier way to do it that doesn't involve using the percentage uses? Is there a way to increase it by a fixed amount of pixels to only one side?

You can also just type in +20px even if the field is currently using % or another unit.

If you're doing a Free Transform, set the reference point to the side opposite the one you wish to expand. In the W and H fields, right-click to open a little menu, and select Pixels. "100%" will change to the pixel dimensions. Set your cursor at the beginning of the desired field, type "20+" (leaving the original intact following), and press Enter.

Thank you, I didn't know you could right click the percentage boxes and turn it into pixels, it's exactly what I wanted.

Are you working with simple vector shapes like squares? If so, start by selecting one of the anchor points (corners) with the Direct Selection Tool. Tapping an arrow key will move the anchor point one pixel in that direction. Include the Shift key when tapping the arrow keys to move by 10 pixels.

What exactly do you mean by shape? A vector object or a raster/pixel layer?

Can you show a screenshot to illustrate the before/after?

It's a vector object, but I wanted to learn how to do it with free transform in case I need to do it with a image in the future, thank you for helping.
