Question

Is there a stylus I can use on Photoshop from my tablet?

We all know that unfortunately Photoshop doesn't support finger painting, so I was searching for a stylus that replicates the mouse input instead of finger touch. I don't have an iPad, so please don't even mention Photoshop for that device. I already have a graphics tablet, but sometimes I just need to work in tablet mode and obviously it can't help me in those situations. Any advice would be much appreciated.

Your systeme specs.  Shows your laptop has a touch screen  so you can use Photoshop touch gesture support with a stylus which is a finger substitute IMO.  Gesture support support multiple fingers. You could add a Wacom tablet to your and use the Wacom Pen  with Photoshop brush type tools. Or Fine a device driver the will let you use your touch device like a a mouse youy finger or stylus woul be like a mouse.  Photoshop Brush Type  tools work  with mice almost as will as they do with pens.  Pens have pressure and tilt  sensitivity for brush controls and buttons like mice.  Stylus and fingers have no buttons no nouse clicks.

Thanks everyone. I recently downloaded a software that turns the touch input into a mouse click, so I'm using my fingers for now. I've also learnt the difference between an active and a passive pen. I need the first one and I'm gonna buy it. Thanks again.

It requires more then just a active Pen your Computed must support the use of a Pen.  And there are more then one type of pen technology.  Microsoft Pens will not work one Wacom tablets ad cintiq displays and Wacom pens will not work on Microsoft Surface computers.  They use different technology.  You laptop does not support pens from what I saw in the specs. Pens are not touch devices. Machine that support  both Touch and Pens often turn off touch support off when the pen is near the touch surface.

Hi Faby5FAE!

Can you tell us what tablet/machine you are trying to buy a stylus for? Different machines have different digitizers and all are not compatible with each other.

You would need to verify thart your exact model is compatible, but it looks like you can use these pens from HP directly:

HP Stylus Pen

HP Tilt Pen (2MY21AA#ABL)

Do you mean something like a Wacom tablet and pen? Or something else?
