Is there a way to save Path Blur settings? Specifically, I want to save the positions of the paths I create so I can apply them to different layers.

Thx.

Hi, Path Blur itself doesn't offer a preset/save option for the paths, but there is a reliable workaround using Smart Filters:

1. Convert the layer to a Smart Object first (right-click the layer > Convert to Smart Object), then apply Filter > Blur Gallery > Path Blur. The paths and settings are now stored in that Smart Filter and stay fully editable — just double-click Blur Gallery under the layer to reopen and adjust them.

2. To reuse exactly the same paths on a different layer, make that layer a Smart Object too, then drag the Blur Gallery Smart Filter onto it in the Layers panel (Alt/Option-drag to copy it instead of moving it).

That way the saved paths travel with the filter. More on this here: https://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop/using/blur-gallery.html

Hope that helps!
