Issue Printing from Photoshop on Epson SureColor SC-P20000: Paper Advances and Partial Print

Hi everyone,

I’m experiencing an issue when printing from OS 13.6.7  Photoshop v 25.0.0 to my Epson SureColor SC-P20000, and I’m hoping someone here might have some insights. The problem occurs when I create a single canvas with multiple images pasted together. When I send the file to print, the plotter advances the paper by about 15 cm, prints only a partial section (around 30 cm), and leaves the rest of the print blank.

Here’s what I’ve checked so far:

  • The canvas size matches the paper size exactly.
  • There are no excessive margins or empty spaces in the file.
  • Automatic cutting is disabled on the plotter.
  • The issue doesn’t happen with single images—only when multiple images are combined on one canvas.

I suspect it might be a setting or workflow issue within Photoshop, but I can’t pinpoint what’s causing the problem. Has anyone experienced something similar? Any advice or tips would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks in advance!

p.s. i don't think the adobe website, and forums in particular, are easy to navigate, so don't spend a lot of time searching that forum list. do your best and we'll move the post (like this one has already been moved) if it helps you get responses.
