Issues with Generative AI in Photoshop — Faces Not Matching
I want to provide feedback (and a complaint) about the generative AI features in Photoshop. I am a paying Creative Cloud subscriber, and I have been using the generative tools that require Firefly generative credits.
The main issue is that the generated faces do not resemble the reference faces or descriptions I provide. No matter how carefully I prepare the prompt or reference, the output faces come out completely different. As a result, I am repeatedly wasting generative credits on unusable results.
Because I pay a monthly subscription and a limited number of generative credits are included, this feels frustrating and poor value. I am running out of credits without getting a single result that resembles what I requested.
I would appreciate:
- Improvements to face-matching and face-consistency in the generative AI.
- Clarification on how to get more reliable face results, if possible.
- Consideration for the waste of credits caused by unusable outputs.
- A way to provide face references directly (or a stronger “keep the face” option).
