it has me sign in, but then it doesnt let me do anything or once it does let me get to my photos the entire LR crashes

I sign in & it shows how many photos I have uploaded, but it wont let me do anything. in the upper right it has a sign in button again, so I try to sign in again & it says “you’re all set” each time I sign in. The times that it did fully sign in & let me see my photos, it crashed as soon as I tried to edit.
