Question

lag/cursor freezing while switching between Photoshop and other windows on Mac with a Wacom pen

Could someone please help fix this annoying bug? It's incredibly frustrating. I'm using an M3 Pro MacBook with macOS Sonoma.

I'm running Photoshop 25.4.0 (and I've tried downgrading, but it hasn't helped) and a Wacom Intuos Pro S tablet. The problem seems to be with the Wacom driver because when I use the trackpad, there's no lag when switching from Photoshop to another window. However, with the Wacom tablet, there's a second delay, and the cursor freezes for a moment.

This issue didn't occur with macOS Ventura, but unfortunately, I'm unable to downgrade my M3 MacBook to the older OS.

Same over here. And look at Wacom's response.

@Sergei Bak have you checked for updated Wacom drivers compatible with Sonoma? There was a release two weeks ago for Mac. 6.4.5-3.

Yes, I use the latest driver.

It didn't help unfortunatelly.
