Lagging after opening first file

Question

Every morning when I open Photoshop and first file, there is a lag in every operation I do, after some short time it works well.

It feels like Photoshop is slowly accelerating to its normal performance.

It is happening after 27.6. 0 update on Win 11

It wasnt a case before 27.6.

Anyone has similar experience or suggestion, what could be problem??

​@michaljanata, in addition to ​@Ged_Traynor’s recommendation to reset your preferences, are you opening Photoshop directly from a shortcut or image file? If so, instead, try launching the Creative Cloud Desktop app first, and then openPhotoshop from there. And make sure you have the latest driver for your graphics card. Let us know how it goes!
