Latest photoshop update and wacom touch ring zoom?

I've used a Wacom Intuos Pro for several years with photoshop without problems. However, within this week, I am no longer able to zoom using the touch ring rotator. Is anyone else experiencing this or similar problems? I am using the latest photoshop update and the latest Wacom drivers.

Correct answer

I have had the same issues as you. I really struggled to get it working, it worked in other applications, just not Photoshop. Switching it to Zoom didn't work for me. I removed the specific applications on the ExpressKey Remote, leaving "All" and now, I can't add them back on without the Window shutting down! However, I have now switched from Auto scroll/zoom to Zoom and it now appears to be working again! I can't get it to reinstall my back up settings either. Any ideas on adding Applications? They are fine on the Cintiq screen, just problems with the EK Remote.

I finally managed to add Photoshop and Illustrator back on by using the Wacom Center, not the Tablet Properties, while the Apps were running, in case anyone else has this issue!

Sorry, but I want to add to additional points: (1) Wacom's diagnostics shows that the Intuos touch ring and left buttons are functioning, i.e., pressing or rotating them send the correct signal to the diagnostic program. (2) Rotating the touch ring when in Photoshop moves the image vertically in small steps; it does not zoom the image as it had previously.

And, Photoshop version 27.2.0.

I think I corrected the problem by going  into the Wacom Tablet Properties app, clicking the Photoshop application icon, going into the Touch Ring tab,  and changing the "upper left" setting from Auto scroll/Zoom to (simply) Zoom. After doing this, the touch ring zoom worked as expected in photoshop.

Can you specify your tablet model and actual software versions, not just "latest" which will change. Have you tried reverting to the previous driver version? Have you used the Wacom Center app to do troubleshooting or reset the driver/preferences?

Sure: It's a Wacom Intuos Pro model PTH-660 with Driver version: 6.4.12-3 and Control Panel Version: 6.4.12-3. Yes, I have. I reinstalled the latest driver from Wacom, but see no change in the touch ring zoom in PS.
