Layers palette keeps diappearing

Two thoughts:

• Do all panels collapse after use? If so, look in Photoshop Preferences > Workspace tab and uncheck Auto-Collapse Iconic Panels.

• Does the Layers panel actually close or does it collapse to just the title bar?

I cannot recall a similar request being posted recently. Could you please post the requested screenshot, or better yet, record a brief video using screen recording software and upload it to YouTube or a similar site that allows free video uploads? Then, paste the link here.

Do you mean the entire layers panel becomes turned off, or its contents disappear?

What do you need to do to rectify the issue?

Would a screen shot make things clear for us, or is there simply nothing to see?

Also:

The Photoshop version: i.e. 25.7 or beta 25.9 m.2611 etc.
