Lightroom Not Exporting to Photoshop

For no apparent reason exporting from Lr to Ps has gone wacky.

Lr will tell me that it will open in the Beta version OR retry. Retry does the same thing.
I uninstalled the Beta and it will now go to Ps but that's it. It does no open the the file.
I can drag the file from Lr onto the Ps icon in the dock and it will open in Camera Raw which I can then open in Ps.
It will also open if I tell it to open as a smart object in Lr
This may hava all started after I checked the box for Photoshop to run in Rosetta (checked box in Show Info) and I changed back to normal

Running all the lastest Mac OS, Ps and Lr on a Mac Studio

It's disturbing to read this because I was under the impression this problem was solved. I also experienced it, but read from Rick Flohr that by updating both Photoshop and Lr to the latest versions (25.1 and 13.0.1 respectively) all this should work. So I did both and sure enough it all works just right. I am also running a Mac Studio (Ultra version), however my OS is still on Monterey. If you have upgraded your OS beyond Monterey and are having this problem, perhaps there may be an interactive issue between this version of the OS and the two Adobe applications?
