If you have a layer that is using blend on it and you enter Liquidfy. the preview shows it WITHOUT the blend.

From your previous posts (2018) I think you were using Windows.  Is that still the case?

I might, just possibly, be a display issue related to your video card driver, but I think Liquify uses the GPU, so you can turn off GPU acceleration to test it.  So my gut tells me this is going to come down to resetting preferences.  Your best bet is to do this manually.

i fixed the issue by uninstalling photoshop inluding the preferences and re installed all good now

    Hi

Have you got "show backdrop" checked in Liquify and have you adjusted the opacity controls?

i am having the same issue.  i have made sure the layer isnt locked. the processor box is ticked in peferences. Also as per above  user suggestion i have show back drop ticketd etc. This tool was working fine about 2-3 weeks ago.

when i move the pointer over the image in Liquify nothing happens to the image, but if i click ok,  and return back to the main screen in photoshop the image has distored as i would have expected  from the mostions i dont inside the liqufy tool.

screen shot 1 - in the liquify tool

Screen shot 2 - what i see  upon clicking ok and returningto the main screen

    any ideas?
