Liquify is not in the Filter Menu

I went to the FIlters menu and cannot find Liquify on the menu. I am using an 8-bit image. Liquify is not greyed out, it is just not there. I also do not see an option for the Filter Gallery?

Check and see if Photoshop 2024 is running under Rosetta.

Go to

Applications/Adobe Photoshop 2024

right click on the

Adobe Photoshop 2024.app

then click

Get Info

and see if

Open using Rosetta

is checked

If so, uncheck it and see if the Filter>Liquify is back on the Filter menu.

I had checked that and don't see anything about Rosetta on that window.
