The reply to your questions was posted by an AI bot and is now removed (which also removed your reply to the bot). Just in case you wonder where your reply went.

Yeah, mine was simply on the remove option just under the liquify brush option on the top…..which I don’t normally end on and weird that it saves the last selected when exiting and not always start on liquify brush on start up.

I was looking for the option to close it, but it does not give me one.   Only reply subscribed share upvote, copy link or report.

They should add a delete option for people who posted.

, no worries at all! We've all been there—sometimes it’s the simplest toggle that trips us up.

For anyone else stumbling upon this thread with the same 'Liquify brush not working' issue, it’s usually one of these three 'doofus-proof' culprits:

    1. Freeze Mask: You might have accidentally frozen the entire area (check the red overlay).
    2. Selection Active: You have a tiny, invisible selection (marching ants) somewhere on the canvas, which restricts Liquify to that spot only.
    3. 'Show Mesh' or 'Show Image' toggles: These are unchecked in the side panel, making it look like nothing is happening.

Glad you're back to editing! Feel free to mark your own comment as the solution so others know it's resolved."
