    Hi @Eccentric_fact074b,

Thanks for reporting this. Since you're only using Photoshop on one computer but are being prompted to sign out of another device, I'd like to check what your Adobe account currently shows before we have you make any changes locally.

Please sign in directly at https://adobe.ly/4hfWY7s rather than using the link in the Photoshop message.

    Could you let us know:

    • How many activated devices are listed there, and whether you recognize all of them. Please don't post your device serial number or other personal/account information.

    • Whether that page opens normally or also gives you the "The request could not be satisfied" error.

    • Your operating system and Photoshop version.

    • Whether you've recently reinstalled or upgraded the operating system, migrated to this computer, or made a significant hardware change.

If the activation message appears again, please also share a screenshot of the entire message/dialog, with any personal information hidden. The exact wording and options shown will help us determine which activation flow you're encountering.

If the account page shows an old or duplicate computer that you recognize, you can deactivate it there and then try Photoshop again.

If the account page shows only your current computer or no additional activation at all, but Photoshop continues to report that the activation limit has been reached, please let us know rather than making further changes. That would be particularly useful for narrowing down the account/activation issue.

    Best,

Are you using Photoshop CS or CC?. If CS then see the advice from Jane, Adobe no longer reset activations for CS.
If CC and you try to exceed the two PC limit, then log into your account and select which device you don’t want to use. To do that access your account via the CC app (click on your avatar at the top right of the CC app and choose Manage Account). Then choose Plans and Payment > Activated Devices and choose which device to disable. You should then be OK on your current version.

You need to have at least one of your two activations available to activate on a new computer. If you don’t, you are out of luck. Adobe  does not reset activations.

Activations were required for CS6 and earlier. Adobe changed that in 2013 with newer apps. I’m curious as to why you are still paying for an app that was released in 2012 or earlier?
