Lost all toolbar icons since last update

Lost my toolbar icons after last update, there are still 'markers' where the icon should be. Also lost control over the quick adjustment icons, but not the using the pop up icon under the layers panel

Hi @bet1947 glad to hear you are up and it is working. As per your question as to why:

"There is a lot going on in these logs that is abnormal, not just with Adjustments. What the team thinks you should try at this time is to close Photoshop and go to this location on your hard drive:

C:\Users\Bill\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\UXP\PluginsStorage\PHSP

Then rename the folder "24" to "~24", relaunch Photoshop, and retry. This is the storage folder for UXP plugins (such as the Adjustments panel and all those other panels that get greyed out in the Window menu). This is basically resetting a different set of preferences. Since the Beta version is working, which uses the PHSPBETA folder next to the location mentioned above, it is likely there is something in the PHSP folder which isn't configured correctly. When launching Photoshop it will recreate the 24 folder and fill it with new contents."

I been having same problem. Lost both the adjustment panel icon (grayed out won't work) and toolbar . I reset workspace, removed PS and re-installed several times and no fix. I finally went back to older version 24.5 and it is working much better sometimes. Sometimes I have to close out PS and re-open several times before the adjustment panel will decide to work. Toolbar panel has been working OK now.

Everything worked fine after putting PS into a default state but after I closed PS and reopened I lost control over the adjustment panel icons and could not select layers. The system info included is after a default state reset and the adjustment icons not working. The toolbar icons are fine now.

Does it work correctly?

If that doesn't solve it, you can quit Photoshop and put the Settings folder back.

It may help if we could see your Photoshop System Info. Launch Photoshop, and select Help >System Info...and copy/paste the text in a reply.

Thank's for the reply Trevor. Yes, this is using the full version. Everything is fine with the beta. Here's what the adjustment icons are doing now. I can create an adjustment layer using the pop up menu under the layers but if I click one of the icons to create the adjustment layer, nothing works after I click it. Won't create the layer and cannot select any other layers . Along with the missing icons on the toolbar. I always use the photography workspace which I tried resetting. The beta is working fine but I would much rather use the full version.

Well the good news is that you are the first person I have seen who has lost both Toolbar _and_ Adjustments panel icons. I've had an ongoing issue with Adjustments panel, and several people have lost Toolbar icons.

Is this with the full release or beta version? It sounds like you are using V25.0 is that right?

My issue is only with the beta version since the recent updates, but I can see the icons the first time I open Photoshop after starting my computer. After that it is 100% fail till I restart my computer again.

You might find that Deactivating Native Canvas in Preferences > Technology previews fixes it, but it didn't for me.

It might be helpful to hear what hardware you are using in case there is some consitency with that.

For your Adjustments, you should be able to access them usin the drop down in the top right corner, but I don't know any way to get round the tool icons other than using shortcuts.
