Lost Photoshop CS6 Favorite Actions Folder

Hi. I had created a "favorites" folder for my photoshop actions that I have been curating and using for years. Recently, I launched Photoshop and got an error "cannot load actions because an unexpected end of file was encountered". My actions are still available if I load them. But, my favorites folder is gone, and I had put a lot of time into organizing my actions into it. Any thoughts on where it could have gone or what could have happened?

You say the actions still work?  Can you not group and export them again?  Or do you have to load them one at a time?

Do you know that you can edit the actions if that would be necessary to give them the right shortcuts and colours?  Perhaps, if you give more details, people might have some ideas.

Another thought here, but a case of closing the stable door after the horese has buggered off.  You don't need to leave assets at the mercy of Photoshop.  You can store them remotely, and place a shortcut to that location in the Actions/presets/ etc. folder.  It's a better way to keep them safe.
