Lost the Pixel Tooltip on Marquee Tool

For the longest time now I have lost the pixels shown on the cursor when using the Marquee Tool.
I used to measure with the marquee tool to see the distances between fonts or other gutter/margins. 
I don't understand how it got lost and all the videos and google searches only end up with people just casually having it but nobody seems to lost it/have it missing/missing it. 

Could anyone please help me!
