Question

Mac Photoshop 2025, removed ability to drag folders into favourites. Why?

As per title,
up until 2024, when navigating the finder through a Photoshop export or link dialog, we were able to add folders into the favourites column as normal.
Why on earth was that removed in Photoshop 2025?

We used it all the time, it's a small but frustrating usability detail.

Cheers

What version of macOS are you using?

Here it works in Photoshop 2025 (ps ver 26.3) on macOS Sonoma 14.7.3, but not with Photoshop 2025 (ps ver 26.3)

on macOS Sequoia 15.3

@Enrico5FA3 instead of dragging that from Photoshop; get out of that screen, and do it from your Mac screens from the Shared - Test

Hi,
thank you, I understand your reply is genuinely trying to help.

However, all due respect, I feel like you missed the point.
I know I can do that in finder.

It is (was) very convenient though to be able to do it on the fly while working in Photoshop, in a situation where the favourite not been created before hand, and it feels like an unnecessary loss of functionality.
