Mac storage issue

I am using the latest version of Photoshop CC (on Macbook Air M2) and keep having storage issues when working on multiple files on multiple Adobe apps. However, the odd thing is this is mainly when the files I am working on are saved to our server, rather than locally to the machine. If saved to desktop this is not such an issue. is there anything that can be changed within Adobe settings to help with this problem?

    Saving directly over a network connection to a server is not supported and officially warned against. 

     

    I know many people do it, but it's a bad habit and basically asking for trouble. The probability of corruption and loss of files is very high. Just don't do it.

     

    Save locally, then copy over.
