Make Copy of Smart Object in Mockup File

Hello all,

Since I'm new to Photoshop, I want to make my mockup file. So I download this file from the website to learn about layering. I found out that there is a layer that contains smart objects like in the picture that I marked. My question is how to make that kind of layer into my mockup file. I've tried to copy the smart object but the clipping mask is not included. Thanks

Could you please post screenshots with the pertinent Panels (Toolbar, Layers, Options Bar, …) visible?

A Clipping Mask can be created by alt-clicking the separator between two Layer icons in the Layers Panel or Layer > Create Clipping Mask (cmd-alt-G).

I'm sorry, but your question is not very clear. You can create a Smart Object layer from any layer by right-clicking on it and choosing "Convert to Smart Object". However, the layer you highlighted is hidden.

I don't see any clipping mask inside the highlighted area. If you want to copy and paste a layer and its clipping mask, you need to select both layers and drag them or use copy/paste commands. You can also duplicate layers in another document by using the "Duplicate Layers" option from the right-click or context menu.
