Question

Make dual brush unable to overlap

Hi All,

When applying a texture to your brush by applying the texture checkbox in brush settings, painting over the same spot multiple times will not stack the texture (e.g. if your brush is black you won't create a completely black spot if you have the texture enabled). Can this effect be replicated through for example the dual brush setting?

For me the texture option is to rigid, as i want to be flexible in brush and texture size quickly, but i also want the texture to be unable to overlap itself, thus protecting the texture even with multiple pass overs.

is this possible? thanks in advance.

What are your brush settings?  That's Options Bar and Brush Settings Panel.

What is the Texture Mode set to?

AFAIK so long as brush opacity is set to 100%, and texture blend mode to something like Multiply or darken (depending on the underlying colour) then it should paint a full texture with first pass of the brush.
