Metadata automatisée

There may be a way that you can try, shown below:

1. Create a File Info metadata template that includes exactly the information you want to include. 

2. Write a script that applies that metadata template. 

3. In Photoshop, choose File > Scripts > Script Events Manager. 

4. Set up Script Events Manager to run your script when you want. For example, do you want Photoshop to write the info when you create, open, or save a document?  

The picture I posted below is just an example. It should look similar to but not exactly like this, because I haven’t written the necessary script. 

However, this might not be the best way to do what you want. It might not be a good idea to have Photoshop automatically overwrite the metadata of every file you open or save. What if it’s a client’s image, a stock image, or other image where someone else’s original metadata must be preserved? Do you want this for camera images only, or for other Photoshop documents you create from scratch such as a graphic design or a digital painting?

If you are a photographer and you simply want all your photos to automatically have identifying metadata that’s recognized by software that edits it, it is more common to automatically embed your information at the time you add the photos to your computer from your camera. For example, both Adobe Bridge and Adobe Lightroom Classic can add your customized metadata at import. This metadata is preserved when you open the image in Photoshop.

Adobe Bridge offers this in its Photo Downloader (File > Get Photos from Camera). 

Adobe Lightroom Classic offers this in its Import dialog box. I use Lightroom Classic, so every time I import from any of my cameras, I simply make sure my customized metadata template is selected, and it’s applied to every image as it comes in. I don’t have to do any extra work and it always gets done automatically. 

Even if you do this, in Photoshop you can still decide to make a one-click action or script that applies your preferred metadata template when you need to add your information to a Photoshop document that is missing metadata because it was created from scratch, or created from an image that doesn’t already have metadata applied to it.

@Pascal N. Photo Artist Unfortunately, no. Photoshop doesn't have a built-in feature to automatically populate the "Basic" information (Author, Description, Keywords, Copyright) for every saved image. You could create your own 'template' fill in the "Basic" information with your standard information and then save this file as a template (.psd). Whenever you start on a new projects, open the template and begin working from there. This ensures consistent basic information is included from the start?

Honestly, I would be the opposite. I don't want all my data on every single file that I work on. I be that person going into File Info, and removing all that metadata. I would even use a third-party app to strip that metadata if I had too. 

If you taken the photo and imported in Photoshop, it will give you the Camera Data, GPS Data, Video and Audio Data... the GPS is the worse because if I took photos of my babies, people could find where I live, where I took it, etc...it's a privacy issue now!
