Mirrored image not saving as mirrored or printing as mirrored

I m using Photoshop CC 2024, on a macOS (Monterey 12.7.6)  have got the image I want mirrored, but it won't save as mirrored or print as mirrored and I want to print this onto fabric so it needs to mirror in order for the text to be read.

No option in my printer settings that I can find (Canon Pixma). It is driving me to distraction.

Any help gratefully received.

Thanks

Mirroring is for preview only - it is sometimes useful for spotting composition errors. It does not alter the actual image. The easiest way to do what you want is to select all layers and create a smart object containing all those layers. Then on that smart object use Edit > Transform > Flip Horizontal. If you have further edits on the layers to do just double click the smart object and the original layers will be shown.
