My clone tool has started giving jagged edges.

This started happening about 3 days ago. I continued hoping it would heal, but now I need it to be smooth.

I'm trying to create a smooth edge.  The white area I did in the black to better illustrate how the brush is working

The brush is round. These are my brush settings

Looks like blend mode Dissolve.

Blend mode it was.  I have tremor and often  touch the wrong thing with the mouse

Change your brush to a round one. You may also have brush noise turned on by accident.
