My LIQUIFY tool not working!

Question

I have The updated version of Photoshop and can't get my Liquify to work for some reasons. I've tried stuff in the preferences menu and it still don't work. Does anyone know why the Liquify tool is not working.
and I even contacted the panel "Retouching Academy" I'm using that has it on there and it still want work. But I'm waiting to hear from them too.
Any help would be appreciated!!

in the future, to find the best place to post your message, use the list here, https://community.adobe.com/

p.s. i don't think the adobe website, and forums in particular, are easy to navigate, so don't spend a lot of time searching that forum list. do your best and we'll move the post (like this one has already been moved) if it helps you get responses.
