Need To Add Frames To Beginning of Animation

I have created an annimated timeline, lets say its a dancing skellington.  Its 576 frames long.  I'm going to export it as video, but first I need to add a few more frames to the beginning.  Lets say I want to begin with a jack-o-lantern opening his mouth to reveal the dancing skellington and I've added the jack-o-lantern layers into the file.  The problem is... when I add layers and give them values in the first frame of the annimated timeline, because they are new layers without values in the following 575 previously created frames, I have to enter values for the new layers 575 times!  Yikes!  Is there a work around for this?   Thank you for your help!

So are you saying that you need to add the time (show for .1 sec as an example) to each frame? If that is the case, you should be able to select all the frames and change the time once.

If you have a 576 frames in s frame animation panel and you want to add  add a second animation that you want in the beginning. If it a few layers like a jack-o-lantern opening his mouth something like 10 layers. I think it would be easy to duplicated the first frame in the Frame animation panel 10 times by dragging the first frame in the animation panel to the new frame icon in the frame animation panel and drop it. Repeat this 10 times so you have 10 copies of the first frame. The first 11 frames will be identical. Once you have done that you would then change which layer are visible in the first 10 frames to be the jack-o-lantern opening his mouth.

JJMack, I thank you for trying to help.  Unfortunately the poblem is that the jackolantern frames then remain activated (turned to visable) in the remaining 576 frames unless I go through and deactivate them in each frame.
